Terms of Service

These terms apply to Public Pages, its website and Android app. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Community Guidelines, and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You can open those documents before signing up; opening them is not required to accept them.

Your account

You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms. If local law requires a parent or guardian’s permission, obtain it before using the service. Provide accurate account information, keep your password private and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Your username must not impersonate someone else. The gender selection associated with an account is permanent. Reading-date invitations and date video rooms are available only to adults aged 18 and over. A private, one-time date-of-birth entry in Profile settings is required to use those features.

Reading and downloads

Public Pages provides access to books and community features. Copyright and public-domain status can differ by country. You are responsible for checking that your use and downloads are permitted where you live. Book descriptions and historical texts may contain disputed, outdated or offensive material; their presence does not mean Public Pages endorses it. Information in books is not personalized professional advice.

Content you share

You retain rights you hold in your posts and uploads. You give Public Pages permission to store, display and deliver that content as needed to operate the features you use. Only upload material you have permission to share. Ordinary published book uploads are intended for the public catalog and may remain available after your account is deleted; your private account details are removed. Books fulfilled through a private request are delivered only to the requesting reader’s library and are not published in the public catalog. The assigned publisher and site owner can manage these files.

Follow our Community Guidelines. Do not post unlawful, abusive, exploitative or infringing material. The site owner and authorized review team may review reports, remove content, restrict publishing or suspend accounts that violate the rules. The site owner controls assigned privileges and may revoke them. We may also act when needed for safety, legal obligations or service security. Contact us if you believe a decision is mistaken.

Social features

Participation in messages, groups, reading dates and calls is voluntary. Respect consent and boundaries. Do not record or redistribute another person’s private content or call without permission. Public Pages cannot guarantee another user’s identity or behavior. Use the available block and report tools.

Account deletion and availability

You can delete your account in Profile settings. See what deletion removes. We may change or interrupt features for maintenance, safety or technical reasons. Keep your own copies of material you need. We do not promise uninterrupted service or the completeness or accuracy of every book.

Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that applicable law gives you, or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
