This experimental study measures how individual furnishings and other items commonly found in homes and offices burn. The tested materials include chairs, sofas, mattresses, bedding, laptops, bookshelves and small tables.
Measurements describe heat release, mass loss and other aspects of combustion under controlled, well-ventilated conditions. Photographs and dimensions identify the specimens, while detailed plots document their behavior over time. The complete report preserves the experimental methods, results, specimen descriptions and supporting appendices.
