Jeffrey R. Kennedy investigates changes in groundwater storage in the north Phoenix aquifer using observations collected during 2020–23. The study combines groundwater-level monitoring with repeated microgravity measurements to examine how water storage varies across the study area.
Maps locate wells, gravity stations, geology and water-service areas. The report compares pumping and injection information with groundwater levels and estimated storage changes, explaining both the measurement methods and the uncertainty associated with interpreting them.
The complete USGS publication retains its original maps, tables, hydrographs and references. Although the report series carries a 2024 number, the native publication and suggested citation identify 2025 as the publication year.
