This NIST report describes the preparation and certification of a reference material made from a yohimbe-containing solid oral dosage form. Its purpose is to support the measurement of yohimbine and related compounds in materials used for chemical analysis.
The authors explain how the material was prepared and how several analytical methods contributed to assigning values. Chromatograms, spectra and comparisons of extraction conditions show the work behind the measurements, while the statistical analysis addresses homogeneity, uncertainty and the combination of results.
The complete April 2024 publication retains its experimental procedures, tables, figures, references and abbreviations. It is an analytical measurement study, with the original NIST presentation preserved.
