This edited volume investigates grammatical agreement within the Minimalist Programme. Its chapters ask how agreement is established, what features enter into it and how the relation interacts with the structure of phrases and clauses.
Contributors examine labeling, concord, object agreement, opacity and configurations in which several agreement relations coexist. Studies of Bantu languages, Ripano, Tamil and other languages bring different patterns into comparison, testing the reach of shared theoretical proposals.
The volume grew from a 2016 workshop and presents the resulting book-length collection in its 2020 published form. This complete edition includes all chapters, references and indexes, together with the original publisher cover and license.
